What Is a Referral Arrangement?

A referral arrangement is a permitted practice in Canadian real estate where one licensed real estate professional refers a client to another licensed professional and may receive compensation if a transaction is completed.

Camille Elliott is a licensed REALTOR® with eXp Realty in Alberta. When she introduces you to a real estate professional in another province or city, this introduction is made through a permitted brokerage referral arrangement.

Referral Compensation

If an introduction made through this website results in a completed real estate transaction, Camille Elliott and/or eXp Realty may receive a referral fee from the receiving brokerage. This fee is paid by the receiving brokerage, not by you.

The existence of a referral arrangement does not affect the services you receive from the real estate professional you are introduced to, nor does it affect the commission or fees you may pay to that professional.

Your Rights

You are under no obligation to proceed with any introduction made through this website. You are free to engage any real estate professional of your choosing.

If you choose to proceed with an introduction, you will have the opportunity to discuss the terms of engagement directly with the professional before entering into any agreement.

Regulatory Compliance

All referral arrangements facilitated through this website are conducted in compliance with the real estate regulations of the applicable provinces and the rules of the applicable real estate boards and regulatory bodies.
